Mark is the Co-Leader of the Surfrider Rise Above Plastic Committee, an organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves, and beaches for all people through a powerful activist network. He is also an Environmental Commissioner in the City of Encinitas. Mark does policy work with cities to try and reduce the amount of plastic being used and is excited to work with the Center to reduce the amount of tobacco product waste recovered worldwide. In his free time, Mark sings in a garage band.
