Asma is a Youth Program Coordinator at the Somali Family Service of San Diego. Somali Family Service, guided by its community champions, empowers immigrants, refugees, and other underserved communities in San Diego through its programs that promote health, educational and economic success, and leadership development. Asma works with the Service’s youth programs. She earned her Bachelors in Public Health with a concentration in Medicine Sciences from University of California, San Diego. She is eager to involve youth and community members in research and raise awareness about the impact of tobacco use in our communities.
