AB 455 has been introduced to the California State Legislature. It would (1) require sellers to disclose thirdhand smoke pollution in residential real estate transactions and (2) the Department of Toxic Substances Control to include information about thirdhand smoke in the Environmental Hazard Guide for Homeowners, Homebuyers, Landlords, and Tenants.
