Chelsea is the Senior Director of Community Impact in San Diego and Southwest Riverside at the American Heart Association. She leads the Greater San Diego division in community impact through policy and systems level public health changes, strategic relationship building, technical assistance in quality clinical care, and advocacy for evidence-based solutions. Prior to the Heart Association, Chelsea worked with the team at Champions for Health as well as earned her Masters of Public Health. She is excited to make new and positive change around tobacco policy informed by both evidence and community with the Center. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys new adventures in backpacking, exploring the culinary secrets of new cities, and hanging out with her partner Joel and plump tabby cat ‘Bailey’.
