The American Heart Association aims to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. A shared focus on cardiovascular health unites our more than 33 million volunteers and supporters as well as our more than 3,400 employees.
Members of the Community Advisory Board (CAB) represent a broad range of fifteen local community organizations, intentionally selected to ensure a range of perspectives and expertise on tobacco-related policy issues. The CAB meets monthly from September through June with the Policy Research Center team to provide guidance on Center activities and progress toward goals.
