Mitch is the San Diego County Policy Manager at the Surfrider Foundation. He puts his efforts in for better environmental policy, with a focus on our ocean, waves, beaches and climate. He is excited to learn and contribute towards the shared goal of creating policy solutions to reduce tobacco-related pollution, especially in regards to toxic cigarette butts, the world’s most littered item. In his free time, he likes to surf, paddle, hike, bike, read sci-fi and fantasy, research, and spend quality time with the people he loves.
