Michael is a Research Specialist at the San Diego State University Research Foundation. He earned his MPH at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He is working towards PhD in Public Health from SDSU-UCSD’s joint program. After the program, he is looking forward to teaching and researching spatial methods in public health. He is excited to implement his team’s new tobacco product waste research with the Center to make an impact on the community. He enjoys traveling, playing soccer, tennis, and disc golf, wandering around Balboa Park, trying different local breweries, and hanging out on his patio with his fiancée and two kittens.
