Nicolas is an Assistant Professor at San Diego State University and an active Investigator at the Center for Tobacco and the Environment. He earned his PhD in Environmental Health Sciences at the University of Arizona and his MPH and MA in Latin American Studies at SDSU. He is excited to engage in collaborative efforts with the San Diego community to assess and identify effective tobacco policies that can be translated into tangible, real-world measures aimed at protecting the well-being of our residents. In his free time, he enjoys playing pickleball, traveling, and watching futlbol.
